Product Types Offered

Individuals

HealthPartners offers Health Products for individuals, families and sole proprietors under the age of 65 and not eligible for Medicare. This plans for individuals, families and the self-employed are designed to make it easy for you to find and choose the coverage that's right for you and your family.

HealthPartner offers four basic plan types:

Traditional
HealthPartner’s traditional plan offers a large range of deductibles for individuals or families. With the HealthPartners Traditional plan, you pay 100 percent of your healthcare costs until your deductible is met. After that, HealthPartners pays for 80 percent to 100 percent of your costs.

Empower
This high-deductible plan works with a Health Savings Account (HSA). The Empower HSA plan is a high-deductible health plan that you can pair with a Health Savings Account (HSA) that you establish with a bank. An HSA allows you to save money for health-related expenses in a tax-free bank account. You create this account with the bank of your choice. Once your HSA is established, you can be reimbursed for qualified health expenses.

Three for free
A plan that provides you with balanced coverage and immediate value. HealthPartners Three for Free individual plan is the coverage you need, including three free office visits each year. Plus it's affordable and easy to use.

Short-term
A short term health plan is great temporary coverage, providing instant protection at a low price. Consider short term coverage if you're:

  • Between jobs
  • Waiting for employer-provided group insurance to take effect
  • Waiting for approval for comprehensive health care

Coverage is available for 30-, 60- and 90-day periods. You can choose from four deductible options, including one that is Health Savings Account (HSA) eligible in certain circumstances. Plus, you can access our more than 650,000 providers and 6,500 hospitals nationwide, and there are no referrals to see a specialist.

Distinctions Plans with tiered benefit levels
Providers are offered at different benefit levels based on quality and cost. Choose from different benefit levels based on your needs and budget.

Primary Clinic Plans
Simplify. Easily coordinate all of your healthcare needs through your favorite doctor or primary care clinic.

Group Dental Plans
Our group dental plans offer a variety of options for preventive care and other services to keep your dental hygiene in top-notch condition.

Medicare Plans

ST.PAUL, Minn, June 30, 2009. - Regions Hospital has safety tips to reduce injuries from fireworks. William Mohr, MD, heads of Regions Hospitals burn unit reports that every year around July 4, Regions treats an average of 10 fireworks injuries such as torn fingers, powder burns, and injuries to eyes and eardrums.
